Who we are

Over the years Mindset has earned great respect in Ethiopia as the nation's foremost voice on mindset change and personal development. It has delivered its message through motivational trainings to high profile leaders of government, non governmental and private sectors, and through well publicised public lectures delivered to live audiences and via televised programs.
Our training and consultancy areas include, but are not limited to, personal soft skills, professional excellence and leadership development. We have addressed multitudes of young people, professionals and mid to high level leaders, and popularised the idea that soft skills and self development are a critical part of leadership and professional training in Ethiopia.

Founder and Director
Dr Mehret Debebe Gebretsadik
Consultant psychiatrist, trainer and idea leader
Dr Mehret graduated as a medical doctor from Addis Ababa University in 1998 and specialised in psychiatry at Saint Louis University School of Medicine in the United States in 2008. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, and has practised psychiatry in both the US and Ethiopia.
He has led and served on several boards and held advisory positions. Among others he has chaired the Addis Ababa University Management Board. He currently chairs the Ethiopian Press Agency's Management Board and is a member of a number of other boards. He was the founding director of the African Leadership Excellence Academy (AFLEX) from 2021 to 2023, where he now serves on the Management Board.
He is the well read author of two popular books, Yetekolefebet Kulf and Lela Sew, and the host of the Mindset Podcast.
