Founder and Director
Dr Mehret Debebe Gebretsadik
Consultant psychiatrist, trainer and idea leader
Dr Mehret graduated as a medical doctor from Addis Ababa University in 1998 and specialised in psychiatry at Saint Louis University School of Medicine in the United States in 2008. A diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, he has practised psychiatry in both the US and Ethiopia.
He has chaired the Addis Ababa University Management Board, currently chairs the Ethiopian Press Agency's Management Board, and was founding director of the African Leadership Excellence Academy (AFLEX) from 2021 to 2023, where he now serves on the Management Board.
